Our “Walk Where You Are” format allows participants to join one of our local community walks or walk any route anywhere in Canada (or beyond). Check out the Find a Walk page to see all of our local in-person walking events.

Our “Walk Where You Are” format means that you can help raise money for Bladder Cancer Canada no matter your location. Check out the Find a Walk page to see all of our local in-person walking events. Please register HERE and start fundraising today.

There is no mandatory registration/entry fee, unless you would like to participate in our Incentive Program, in which case there is a fee of $25 to be eligible.

There is no minimum donation, however we do ask that you register online and collect pledges from your family or friends using your online Personal Page. A great way to start your fundraising efforts is to make a self-donation for any amount!

To help support their fundraising success, participants can opt-in for the Incentive Program by paying the $25 fee when they register for the Walk. In partnership with a national sponsor, the registration fee offsets the nominal cost of the branded items.

No, we walk rain or shine, unless there is a thunderstorm with lightning or severe weather warnings.

Our event is flexible to offer participants an option of when to host their walk and to accommodate for weather.

For greater impact, we recommend walking on September 21 and 22. If you are unable to make those days, you can participate anytime during the month of September.

You can join the Canada Walks for Bladder Cancer group on Strava by clicking here or by downloading the official Canada Walks for Bladder Cancer Good Moves app by clicking here to track your walk and join our community. This is optional and is not required to participate.

We make every effort to protect your personal information. The software we use for registrations and donations on our website uses industry-standard SSL encryption techniques to make sure that your credit card information, passwords, and personal information travel securely over the Internet. Credit card information is never stored in our database or our software provider's database.

Money raised by Canada Walks for Bladder Cancer is the primary revenue source for Bladder Cancer Canada. We use the funds for patient-centric programming, awareness campaigns and innovative research.
