Join our fundraising team in support of Bladder Cancer Canada by participating in Canada Walks for Bladder Cancer. Walk, run, cycle, swim a few km's thinking about "a world where bladder cancer is just a memory"... Bladder Cancer Canada's vision.
For the past 12 years, participants from across Canada have helped Bladder Cancer Canada support patients, raise awareness and fund research.
I was diagnosed with bladder and prostate cancer in 2015 and thanks to advances through research and surgical techniques have survived to enjoy time with family, support new patients and help raise funds to continue to advance education and research.
Bladder cancer is the most expensive cancer to treat, with a high recurrence rate and yet it receives very little research funding. This year, another 12,500 Canadians will be diagnosed - adding to the 80,000+ survivors.
Please make a donation today! You can help us achieve our goal and together we can make bladder cancer just a memory. Last year, donations to Bladder Cancer Canada helped provide a $50,000 grant to our local Queens Cancer Research Institute (QCRI). Your donations also make possible Bladder Cancer Canada's patient support and education services.
