STRAVA - KM's for Bladder Cancer Club
Founded in 2020, this national Strava club based in Kingston, Ontario has been raising money in support of Bladder Cancer Canada by participating in Canada Walks for Bladder Cancer.
BLADDER CANCER CANADA is the first and only Canadian patient advocacy organization dedicated to bladder cancer issues. Bladder Cancer Canada's mission includes raising public awareness, extending patient support and funding research. In short, the organizations vision is awareness, support and research to create a world where bladder cancer is just a memory
Bladder cancer is the most expensive cancer to treat, due to its high recurrence rate. Yet it receives very little research funding. In 2022, the Canadian Cancer Society estimated that 13,300 Canadians would be diagnosed - adding to the 80,000+ survivors and 2,500 Canadians would die from this disease.
