Since my bladder cancer diagnosis in 2020 I have been inspired by the courage, dignity, and resilience of many others on this shared journey. My reason for walking is primarily to raise awareness of this lesser known cancer. The rate of bladder cancer recurrence is among the highest of all cancers and over 13,000 Canadians will be diagnosed with bladder cancer this year.
