My team is once again raising money in support of Bladder Cancer Canada by participating in Canada Walks for Bladder Cancer.
Bladder cancer is one of the most expensive cancers to treat, with a high recurrence rate, yet it receives very little research funding.
As some of you may know, on November 30, 2017, my father, Mike Kelaiditis, succumbed to bladder cancer. Originally diagnosed in 2015, his cancer was treated but unfortunately came back in 2017 which is when he lost his battle. My family and I witnessed how aggressive and violent bladder cancer can be as we cared for him in his final months. I think I speak on behalf of my entire family when I say his presence is missed dearly every day. We continue to keep his memory alive through participating in the annual Bladder Cancer Canada Awareness Walk and fundraising initiative.
Please consider donating to this cause in support of all those impacted by this disease.
Our team is open to anyone so please feel free to join, donate, share, or support in any way you can!
