Welcome to My Personal Page
When I was first diagnosed with bladder cancer in 2018, the only person I had known with the disease didn't survive. I remembered watching my mother-in-law fight a losing battle. Yeah I was pretty scared.
In my case, however, a Bladder Cancer Canada advertisement ("If you see red, see your doctor!") alerted me to take action which resulted in an early diagnosis. It's now six years, and I remain cancer free.
Now I am paying that forward by raising money in support of Bladder Cancer Canada by participating in Canada Walks for Bladder Cancer which will be held in Hamilton Saturday, Sept. 21 this year.
Canada Walks for Bladder Cancer is a national walk, with participants from across Canada uniting to increase awareness and raise funds to support Bladder Cancer Canada.
This year, another 13,300 Canadians will be diagnosed with bladder cancer. By supporting efforts to raise awareness, we can help ensure they join the 80,000+ survivors like me.
Please donate today and support my fundraising efforts. Consider joining us on our walk at the Macassa Bay Yacht Club this September. Together we can make bladder cancer just a memory!
