Diamantis Jim Alexandris:  husband, father, pappou, great grandfather, brother, uncle, friend.  His loss in 2022 left a huge gap for so many of us.  

But we were fortunate to have wonderful memories and lessons from him, that will last us a lifetime.  Our family is raising money in support of Bladder Cancer Canada by participating in Canada Walks for Bladder Cancer.

Dad's name in Greek means Diamond, and we would often refer to him as the Greek Diamond!  This team name honours him, his journey the last couple of years and, anyone who knew dad at all, honours the love he had for daily walks - wherever he was, indoors or outdoors!

Canada Walks for Bladder Cancer is a national walk, with participants from across Canada uniting to increase awareness and raise funds to support Bladder Cancer Canada.Bladder cancer is one of the most expensive cancers to treat, with a high recurrence rate it receives very little research funding.
