Welcome to My Personal Page
I’m raising money in support of Bladder Cancer Canada by participating in Canada Walks for Bladder Cancer.
My father was diagnosed with bladder cancer, and as our team name states - One Lucky One - he was diagnosed early, has and is undergoing treatment, and as of this week, remains cancer free!
We are so grateful for this positive outcome on his cancer journey and that I, and my two siblings, will be walking with him in the Canada Walks for Blandder Cancer event in Calgary this weekend.
We are walking as we want to support others who are and may be diagnosed with bladder cancer, in support of research that can lead us to a cure, and discovery of methods for earlier detection.
Canada Walks for Bladder Cancer is a national walk, with participants from across Canada uniting to increase awareness and raise funds to support Bladder Cancer Canada.
Bladder cancer is one of the most expensive cancers to treat, with a high recurrence rate it receives very little research funding. This year, another 13,300 Canadians will be diagnosed, adding to the 80,000+ survivors.
Please donate today and support my fundraising efforts. Consider joining Canada Walks for Bladder Cancer. Together we can make bladder cancer just a memory!
