Cancer Conquering Care Bears
The Cancer Conquering Care Bears have accepted the challenge of lacing up their sneakers for the 14th annual Canada Walks for Bladder Cancer. Funds raised will help support the 13,400 people that will be diagnosed this year.
For the past 14 years, participants from across Canada have helped Bladder Cancer Canada support patients, raise awareness, and fund lifesaving, innovative reasearch..
With over 37 Canadians being diagnosed with bladder cancer every day, bladder cancer is the most expensive to treat on a per patient basis, due to it's high recurrence rate and yet it receives very little research funding.
